We had reached the base village, narivali at around 9.00 am. Our interpretor was chandu who knew marathi. We asked for directions, an old man directs us, but warns us that, its raining, so its dangerous to cross the river. But decide to check the river ourselves. We encountered strangers of our kind, ask for directions, everybody had only one answer SARL(straight), its raining, crossing the river will be dangerous. Anyways we keep on going on the SARL path, cross few streams(we are yet to cross the dangerous one). After walking through the lush green paddy fields and following the SARl path, we meet two people coming from Siddhagadwadi, shoot the same questions, is this the way to siddhagadwadi, how dangerous is the river?. Who say, with a strange kind of expressions, u can cross the river easily. After good three hour climb we finally reach the siddhagadwadi. Siddhagadwadi is on a plateau, the siddhagad fort is on the hill on the plateau some 1000 ft high. We climb the hill. A baba stays in a cave half way on the hill. He guides us. Basant gave up at baba's cave, saying its dangerous to go up, he says climbing is easy, but climbing down is the most diffcult part. Any ways Gaza, Moody climb to check the way. They come back after sometime, with news that it is climbable, but at your own risk. So gave up the idea of climbing in rain. We agree on eating the grub at a school in siddhagadwadi, Gaza was the one against the idea, as he didn't want to go to a school on sunday.
And we are still to find the river which is very dangerous to cross. May be next trek.

Hey even I anticipated getting down would be difficult. Turned out to be the other way round.
