Au revoir Armstrong

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Past 23 days its has been a treat to watch the best cyclist from different countries fight to outsmart each other to win the le tour. There was something special this year, its the last time Lance Armstrong will be riding his favourite tour. The routes he has been riding and burning the energy in his body, to set the road on fire. There were attacks from every one Ullrich, Ivan Basso have tried their best to attack Lance in the Alps, pyrenees, but he had answer for every thing. There were attacks from the media as well on the discovery channel. That its not the best team, in the tour. The discovery team answer next day by setting some amazing pace for the peloton. This was the stage when Lance increased the time on all his close rivals. From that day on Lance has the lead intact. He was challenged by Basso and ullrich but he answered the attacks by responding and joining them. The highlight of the tour was a stage win by Hincapie. He was put in the attack so that maybe he can assist Lance if nesscary at the end of the stage, but lance didn't need any assistance. And Hincapie went on to win the toughest mountain stage. Lance would have won the tour without a stage win. But he won the individual time trial stage, that day he was flying. He was setting the race on fire.
(Just a fact: Greg LeMond, american, was the first non-european to win the Le Tour. And won the tour without winnning a Stage. He too came back from an acident.LeMond on Armstrong: Armstrong may be doping to improve his perfromance. "If Armstrong's clean, it's the greatest comeback. And if he's not, then it's the greatest fraud." And "Lance is ready to do anything to keep his secret. I don't know how he can continue to convince everybody of his innocence.")

Part of the credit should go to his team Discovery channel.

Few Quotes:
Armstrong: “You either fight back or quit"

Armstrong: “If I was sick and came back and won the ping pong world championships it wouldn’t be the same”
